It is time for an update!
Here are five things that are going on in my life and on diyrona.
- Where have I been?
Last year, in fall 2016, I started my third semester at university. I was so full of energy, wanted to do so many things on diyrona – I even took on an additional class.
Well. As you can guess, it didn’t work out.
I was working three jobs in addition to university and I had to study a lot. I didn’t realize it at the time, but it was too much. To put it shortly: I was as stressed out as I could be. (But don’t get me wrong, I loved everything I did, it was just a bit too much on my plate.)
When I finally realized that it was all too much and that I couldn’t continue doing all these things, I quit a job, worked less on another one and focused on university. After all, I wanted to keep my grades up (or at least kinda up).
Now I’m on my summer break and I finally found the time to catch up with some of the footage and pictures that I took over the past year.
I already uploaded some videos on my German channel back in 2015 but then stopped because of the reasons mentioned above.
During the course of that year, I filmed some things that you can now find on my YouTube channel (click here).
Here are just a few more things I want to say about YouTube:
– I don’t know if the videos I make are going to be the same as the ones that are on the channel right now. That was simply what I already had and I wanted to put that out there.
– I’m a complete idiot when it comes to filming and editing etc. So please be gentle and patient and nice if my videos still suck. Everyone has to start somewhere and I’ll get better during the process!
– I’m doing videos in English even though I’m German. That means I have an accent. If that bothers you, feel free to not watch any of my videos or go to my German channel where I talk in my mother tongue.
So, I’m planning on doing diy’s (duh), fashion videos, and maybe the occasional food or random lifestyle thing on my channel. If you have any questions or ideas for what kind of videos I should be doing, comment below or message me on social media.

Blogging is where it all started. Back in the day, I used to post diy projects I made, outfits I wore and other things that inspired me. That’s where I want to be again.
The posts in the past year that you can now see on this blog are mostly just pictures that I still had and wanted to post. So don’t be disappointed, it’s going to get better! I’m trying to create more editorial content in the future. So I’m really excited to get into blogging again (now that I have gained so much experience from other projects and university – I’m not 15 anymore, anyways!).
I study communication sciences at the University of Hohenheim which is in Stuttgart.
If you have any questions concerning my university courses or if you would like me to write about organization, study tips and the like – tell me!
For the next couple of months, I will live in Ireland! This is really exciting for me and kind of a new chapter in my life.
I will work a full-time job there and I’m planning on blogging on the weekends or even in the evenings.
So stay tuned for anything that I will experience in Ireland!
